go to University of California in Berkeley.
I think that with a law degree from University of California in Berkeley, I could get a fantastic job with any firm in a large city with an opening. I have dreamed of living in California my whole life. I should have gone out of state for college, but I decided to stay in state and go to Austin College.
Austin College has been a great school. It is too bad I can't earn a law degree there. Three of the schools I applied to are in Texas. I have lived in Texas all of my life and feel very comfortable here. I'm not sure I would like North Carolina, even if Duke University accepted me.
I visited Tulane University in Louisiana with my mom last year. She liked the school and thought that I would enjoy living in New Orleans while I studied for my law degree. I'm not sure that the New Orleans lifestyle is really for me. I went to New Orleans only one other time than the time I visited Tulane with my mom. That was with an ex-boyfriend of mine and we had way too much fun.
There was one school I applied at that I actually hope I do not get accepted to. I only applied at Baylor University because my grandmother requested that I do so. I just don't want to go to school in Waco, Texas. The only thing that I think Waco has going for it is its proximity to Austin, Texas.
My dad got his law degree at SMU and he wants me to get mine there as well. I'm just going to wait and see the results of all six applications before I start dreaming and planning anything. For all I know, my LSAT score and my undergrad GPA are going to mean nothing and I'll end up at the University of Mississippi.
I'm getting more and more anxious every day. I keep checking the mail and nothing has arrived, yet. I just want to know where I'll be living next and start the work on the law degree. I think I will be a wonderful lawyer and hopefully someday I'll be a legislator.
